1

Open Recheck and click on Settings in the left menu.

2

Select Order editing window from the list of settings.

3

Pick a predefined time limit or enter a custom value.

Editing Window Options

You can choose one of the following:
  • Predefined time limit: Select from options like 30 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 12 hours, etc.
  • Custom time limit: Enter a specific value if your preferred duration isn’t listed.
  • Until Fulfilled: Lets customers edit until the order is marked as fulfilled in Shopify.

Continue showing the extension after the window closes

By default, Recheck keeps showing a limited version of the extension after the editing window ends. Customers can still update their shipping details, raise a support ticket, and download their invoice. Turn this off if you want the Recheck extension to disappear completely once the window closes. These post-window options follow your module settings. Support ticket only shows if the Support ticket module is on, and invoice download only shows if the Download invoice module is on.

Recommendation

  1. For brands with quick fulfillment times, consider allowing at least 15 minutes to 2 hours to give customers a chance to fix common mistakes.
  2. When fulfillment times are uncertain but you want to allow changes right up to fulfillment, use the Until Fulfilled option.
The Fulfillment Hold feature will not release the fulfillment hold automatically if the order editing window is set to Until Fulfilled.
