This guide will cover only the critical setup elements to get up and running after you’ve installed Recheck. More in-depth guides for each feature can be found under the Features section.

When you install Recheck the first time, you will see the Recheck setup wizard which walks you through the important steps. Even if you have skipped the setup wizard, you can follow the steps below.

The setup wizard will ask you to configure:

1. Order editing window

Select how long you want to allow your customers to edit their orders. You can pick from the default options or set a custome time.

2. Refund options

Select how you want Recheck to handle automated refunds - either back to the source payment or by issuing store credits. You can choose to skip this if you don’t allow any editing modules which allow the cart value to reduce.

3. Order editing restrictions (optional)

If you have any orders for which you do not want to allow editing (example - B2B orders), you can enter those restricted order tags.

4. Enable order editing modules

Select which editing options you want your customers to have access to. There are no mandatory edits you have to enable, but we recommend picking all the ones you get asked about on your support often.

5. Add Recheck’s extensions

Recheck works by adding the app extension to your Thank You and Order Status pages. editing capabilities to your existing Shopify pages.
