A thank-you page upsell shows extra product offers on Shopify’s Thank you and Order status pages right after a customer checks out. The offer only shows while the order’s editing window is still open, so customers see it during the same window they’d use to edit the order.

How to create an offer

Open Recheck and click Post-purchase upsell in the left menu.

This opens the Upsell Offers page. If you’ve created offers before, you’ll see them listed here with their status and priority order.

Click Create upsell.

Set an internal name for the offer.

This is for your reference only and isn’t shown to customers.

Choose your conditions.

Decide when the offer should show. You can show it for all orders, or show it only when conditions are met, such as the products or collections in the order, product tags, order value, or customer tags.

Choose the products to offer.

Pick products manually, up to 3 per offer, or let Recheck pick them with automatic recommendations. Automatic recommendations pull from Shopify’s Search & Discovery app.

Add a discount.

Offer a percentage off or a flat amount off the upsell products, or choose No discount from the dropdown if you’d rather not discount them.

Flip the Active toggle at the top of the page to take the offer live.

Leave it off if you want to stage the offer without showing it to customers yet.

Click Save.

Priority order

If several offers match the same order, Recheck shows only the first matching active offer, based on the priority you set. Offers are checked top to bottom, and once one matches, the rest are skipped for that order. Inactive offers are skipped too. To change the order, click Edit priority order and drag your offers to rearrange them, then save.

Managing offers

Hover over any offer in the list to Edit, Duplicate, or Delete it.
