# Auto tag orders

> Automatically add a tag to orders when they are edited using Recheck.

    Recheck will automatically add the tag `recheck` to any order that gets edited through Recheck's extensions on the Thank You or Order Status pages.

## Why use this setting?

Adding a consistent tag like `recheck` helps your team:

* Identify edited orders in Shopify admin more easily.
* Filter and report on post-purchase activity powered by Recheck.
* Create automation flows (e.g. in Shopify Flow) based on edited orders.
