# Decrease quantity

> Allow customers to reduce the quantity of items in their order.

    This lets customers reduce the quantity of items in their order, down to a minimum of 1 per item.

The refund for the removed units follows your [Refunds](/features/settings/refund-methods) settings for downgrades.

<Note>
  Decreasing quantity can't take an item off the order completely. To let customers remove a line entirely, turn on [Remove product](/features/modules/remove-product).
